32. Sources don't "confirm" who the killer is in any legitimate news source

The sources might confirm that somebody is being charged, or that authorities believe that X is responsible, but the way this is written is amateur hour.

How hard is this:

Authorities believe Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, were killed by their son, Nick, multiple sources confirm to PEOPLE.

(I would also get rid of the commas around the wife's name and before the son's name. They're unnecessary.)
