Acting National Security Advisor: Running the National Security Council, a significant additional responsibility.
Acting Archivist (NARA): Overseeing the National Archives and Records Administration.
Acting USAID Administrator: Managing the U.S. Agency for International Development, with its functions being integrated into the State Department.
