Problem is she has similar unfavorable ratings which gives her a less competitive edge than Talarico -who has less name recognition, high favorables-and the lowest unfavorability ratings of potential candidates. He also has had a large early fundraising haul the last quarter, and spent almost nothing on ads so far

He has the advantage in the primary, and probably the best shot at beating Cornyn.

It is a pity though that millions will likely be spent against other Democrats right now. I really wish she chose to run for governor.
