…and maintain a reality-based attitude toward it. Republicans are jumping ship like proverbial rats. This represents rank abject opportunism, and is the other side of the universe from actual principled stance. They are not changing their spots, just their strategy and tactics for power and optimal self-promotion. They are not our friends. It’s not like the entire Democratic Party is without a trace of opportunism. Some of our folks do have their moments. But it is virtually a actual dyed-in-the-wool feature of the current repub party mot a bug.
