12. OU's president was a former intern of David Boren!

Disappointed has to be an understatement how Boren feels about this whole saga.

My introduction to politics was during the 2000s culture wars over intelligent design, violent video games, and raunchy TV shows. I remember, as a teenager at the time, thinking that those scold activists were out of their minds, but I had no idea that the MAGA movement would make the Jack Thompson and Parents Television Council types look relatively enlightened!

It used to be that universities were willing to stand up for unpopular truths, but we as Americans have decided to have a government run by Facebook post.
