"One popular route has the smugglers heading to Trinidad and Tobago, a short, 7-mile boat ride from the Venezuelan coast, according to the officials and experts."

Could the government of Trinidad and Tobago be involved with the cartels? From past experience we know that certain elements of the Mexican and Columbian governments were or still are involved with the cartels!

I'm going to bet they send more then one boat out at a time...and while the US Navy concentrates on the boats taking a certain route...the other boats are getting to their drop off points and offloading the cargo.

Of course without any solid evidence because it keeps getting destroyed, the US Navy is nothing more then a test to see if other American military services can be just as easily manipulated to open fire on American civilians...which is a possibility!!!
