PA-10: Perry Trails 'His Democratic Opponent' in New Poll [View all]

In a survey of 549 voters in Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District, the incumbent is not only trailing an unnamed “Democratic opponent” but is currently underwater with a minus-17 percent approval rating among his constituents in Cumberland, Dauphin and York counties.

The Republicans Against Perry Committee released the results of the survey conducted by Public Policy Polling, a firm affiliated with the Democratic Party, that was in the field Nov. 18-19.

Perry was behind “his Democratic opponent” by seven percent in a district that President Donald Trump carried by five points just a year ago. There are presently four candidates that have filed for the Democratic primary, headlined by 2024 challenger Janelle Stelson. The former broadcast journalist polled with a favorability rating of plus-6.

The remaining candidates include Dauphin County commissioner Justin Douglas, Carlisle resident Jason Cass, and veteran William Lillich.
