When sober, Nixon considered crimes as options, and it might be noted he was okay with expanding military operations into Cambodia and Laos. But he had a secret plan to end the Vietnam, that he kept to secret that it has never been identified.

The few times that he was rude and obnoxious in public had to have been someone else's fault. Than darned Dan Rather!

In one of his books, Rather discribes a break-in to his home during the plumbers' era of activities.
