So, they want all this to go away. Why?

1. The shooter was granted asylum by none other than Donnie Poopy Pant's himself during his first admin. Like much of the Afghan withdrawal, it was already in motion when Biden took over.

2. As stated, the Nat Guard are not trained for this, and legally can't do shit except walk around as political props. That's well known and quite unpopular before this incident. It's not playing well even in Republican circles. And now this makes it even worse.

3. This short circuits the whole DEI / women don't belong in the military narrative. They cannot get past the fact that Donnie's regime deployed her and others knowing full well what their gender is. They can't pull the "she shouldn't have even been there / can't do the job" card because THEY put her there. But they also can't make her a martyr if she "shouldn't have been there in the first place." Sure, they could try, but with a dead woman? The backlash would be massive.

The unfortunate part is, the regime isn't dumb enough to attempt to make political hay from this. I want them to! I want them to go there! Please! Please! Please!!
