79. Depends on how you define "fortunate"...

…both my parents (who would definitely not have been MAGA) are gone, along with, I suspect, every other family member of that generation. I have no siblings, and lost all track of the only first cousin I had decades ago. Same with most of the extended family, except for one third cousin who’s definitely a Christian nationalist and who lives far away. At this point, our Thanksgiving consists of myself, my wife, and our adult son, all of whom are on the left, but it makes for a pretty small family gathering.
