Maybe MTG has noticed what happens in a dictatorship's machine and has caught on that the gears will catch her pretty early on. Well before any of us get rounded up, the long knives will be out for the blood of those who helped get us there but have become inconvenient on the way.

The 1% are short sighted if they think a dictatorship is going to let them save money on taxes. Anyone looking at the dictatorships of the world should be able to see where their freedom of movement, advancement and ability to retain and pass wealth to the next generation are going to go if and when we lose our democracy.

If we do lose our democracy and then manage to get it back, once again the 1% are not going to do well. Probably better than if the dictatorship continues, but not as well as if they had stayed out of politics and just paid their taxes.
