Where was all of this excuse making when he was dragging his feet, doing nothing, while Democrats across the country were thinking they finally got Trump? That's the way it is and we can either accept it and move on and not make the same mistake again, or we can come up with massive convoluted excuses to fob the blame off somewhere else and watch our democracy burn to the ground.
