in a society which has a lower rate of vaccination is a poor substitute for being vaccinated in a society which has a high rate of vaccination. But it is important to be proactive. Everyone should be asking their doctors which vaccinations they might need before those vaccinations are no longer available, or no longer covered by insurance or Medicare.
