35. To me, the point of this isn't that the guy was/is innocent, it was that he was denied a fair trial.

This can happen to anyone, if you speak out against the government, and just gets "disappeared", with no recourse. What would happen to many of us then? Gone, never to be seen or heard of again, subjected to who knows what abuse. All because a crazy man doesn't like you. Or your race. Or your ethnic background. Or your political beliefs. Or your religion. Or your gender. Or sexual preference. Or your age.

Where does it stop, if we don't stop this now? It's not just for the immigrants, legal or otherwise, it's for us all. It's not just for America, it's for democracies everywhere. Make sure people can't just do whatever they want, and call it their right because they have a "mandate" that doesn't exist.
