Because, in his rotted worldview, winners are strong, losers are weak, and history is just a PR obstacle. Trump doesn’t honor D-Day because he doesn’t understand it. There’s no grift in sacrifice. No spotlight in humility. No Trump Tower on Omaha Beach.
We’re not just dealing with ignorance. We’re dealing with someone who turns our national legacy into an open-mic night for fascist nostalgia. This was a moment to reaffirm shared values, to remember the blood and bravery that made freedom possible.
