If Trump doesn't go ahead with ending Tesla/SpaceX etc's contracts with the federal government, Elon's knowledge of serious election tampering might be why.

On the other hand, it's pretty clear that if Elon were to admit to the tampering, provide evidence of the tampering, that might cause some considerable inconvenience to himself. State attorney generals might look into it. Dana Nessel in Michigan is a Democrat. Josh Kaul in Wisconsin is a Democrat.
