President Donald Trump said he saw Harvard University warming to cooperation with his administration after imposing punishing new sanctions on the school, including a new push to restrict foreign students and researchers.

“I think they’re starting to behave, actually, if you want to know the truth,” Trump told reporters Thursday in the Oval Office during a meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
