Hate to say it, but we're not going to have free and fair elections for a long time. [View all]

The Supreme Court has given direct control of the Federal Election Commission over to Trump.

This means that red states will be able to double down on gerrymandering and voter suppression. Blue and purple states will see their Democratic majorities chipped away until they're nothing. Think we'll see a rebound in the midterms next year? Don't count on it, in fact I believe that the Republican majorities in both the House and Senate will increase. As far as 2028 goes, well, the good news is I doubt Trump will run again. The bad news is that either of the oligarchs' hand picked idiots, Vance or Trump jr will get the nod, and win.

We are now caught in a bit of a conundrum. We need the courts to restore the rule or law and justice in this country. In order to achieve this, we need a Democratic president to nominate true judges. But we need to win an election, we're going to need courts to restore law and justice. And around and around we go.

I think that the only way out of this is going to be a, most probably violent, revolution.
