The other side is for these things as well. Also, being for something and never achieving any meaningful results, doesnt exactly win people over to our side. Especially when many pieces of our perceived social agenda are so unpopular. Labeling anyone with a different opinion the ist of the day doesnt help either.
As a person that after 45 years is on their last gasp as a Democrat. I could offer up several opinions. But no one wants to hear it. I dont even recognize my party any more. People like myself feel like we are persona non grata. When you are pushing out life long stalwarts, the likely hood of bringing in new members is greatly diminished.
