1. Nobody is committing fraud at scale for Social Security

It doesn't profit enough for the time to sit on the phone. Text/email scams are profitable because they cost nothing. Labor intensive scams target bigger profits like someone's 401k or corporate information where you can get into ransomware, or if they are going for like an Apple gift card, it's get in get out. Social security would be a long con, and the chances of getting caught go up far higher/faster than your profit potential.
