If they reduce immigration (as they want) & one parent leaves the workforce, the available workforce goes down.
Companies would now have to pay MORE for work which either:
- Reduces profits which their rich donors won't like, or;
- Prices have to rise, triggering inflation which has been shown to be political death.
They don't understand basic economics nor can they analyze the history of such actions.
They think 2 dimensionally and aren't happy unless all their fantasies come true.
They won't be coming true.
