I have read extensively about statins and the whole history etc. I am one of those people that cannot take them due to severe muscle spasm. Otherwise I would take them because I’m in the high risk category… anyway, psycho does not seem to be showing any signs of that, but it could happen 😹

A somewhat unknown fact about statins is that the effects they have which help control heart issues such as blockage is not due to lowering cholesterol. It’s due to reducing inflammation. Something I discussed years ago with one of my cardiologists who told me I should be a doctor because I’m so knowledgeable about all of it 😀
