4. Pierre Poilievre campaigned on "change", mentioning it over 50 times in one recent speech

Polls indicate his party will lose tomorrow's election. He built up for two years to run against Trudeau, then the rug was pulled out from under him when Trudeau resigned and the Liberals elected Mark Carney as leader and hence Prime Minister.

Unfortunately for Poilievre, he was personally unable to change his campaign since he is all slogans and nastiness. Fortunately Canada may have dodged a bullet if Conservatives do as projected and fail to win the election.
