The magic word is "change"... [View all]

Politicians always campaign on change. Sometimes it carries more weight than other times. It is most effective when the majority feel the need for "change". Whether it be the economy, crime, war, or downright incompetence, people are always looking for change.

We could deduce from the present polls of the incumbent that we are headed to a "change' election, in my opinion. If the country has ever been on the wrong track, it is now.

But the question on many minds is, can the Democratic Party offer the change that people want? The polls for Democrats is even lower than those of Donald Trump and the Republicans.

So, if the people want change, do the Democrats offer the same as in previous elections? In my opinion, it is obvious that they are looking for a big change. Something almost earth-shaking that divorces itself from the present political realities. That is just my opinion.

Perceptions are very difficult to change.

How do we change perceptions?
