Tonite's Correspondents' Dinner; What a Travesty! [View all]

Last edited Sun Apr 27, 2025, 02:24 PM - Edit history (1)

What's up Journalists & media people? You completely dropped the ball! Everyone watches this, on TV every year, and they have expectations of entertainment. So this year, the fragile & cowardly president does not attend, and for some reason, the correspondents dinner decides not to have ANY entertainment? Wow. No comedians at all...it's basically just a dinner, and then they have some boring testimonials and awards at the end. Unbelievable.

What this says to me, is that these so-called journalists have surrendered in advance. This was a BIG WIN for Trump, and they just capitulated in advance, and handed it to him. It also amazes me that they do not seem to understand the basics of the media business that they are in...and that's entertainment, even if it's news. This was not entertaining AT ALL. This was boring as fuck.

They rolled over, they gave up without even an attempt to justify their profession. They handed it to Trump.

I'm so sick of this.
