I can't help but wonder if the real reason is that Trump is scapegoating this guy for all of the negative fallout surrounding his stupid-ass tariffs. But, he can't openly criticize him for the mess, because that would be admitting that it's a mess. So, the wedding photo is just a cover. Not to mention that the wedding took place in 2019. That just tells us that Trump never bothered to vet this guy.
