I saw a post about it yesterday afternoon and my jaw dropped.

WRVA is the powerhouse talk radio station around here. Reid was heavily anti-DEI especially at VMI. He used his radio show as a springboard but I didn’t think it was a smart move but hey he got the nomination. He got enough signatures and the only other candidate dropped out.

The afternoon host and their news break lead with this. They played Reid’s video. He’s a comms guy so it was pretty good but strangely he went into having one night affairs and way too far into his personal life. I get it, I wouldn’t want to defend some things I’ve done but that’s why I don’t run for office.

It appears that the conservative Christians are hellbent on going after Reid. He’s gay and his partner of 8 years is black.

Reid says he’s staying in. Frankly it’s really about the Governor race and coattails not LG. Sears is a nut job and Abbie is one of the best candidates you will ever find. If things go as the should Abbie wins and then Reid will be used to take the blame.
