10. It's helped me to get by, to focus on ONE day at a time - today.

Yes, many painful things are likely to happen.

Being aware of that, the best thing we can do is make sure that we are as healthy and sane and ready to deal with them as we can be.

And appreciating what isn't wrong, today.

A modicum of general preparation for hard times doesn't hurt, though. Especially where it concerns making sure you have many friends and loved ones who can offer a shoulder to cry on, or need your shoulder from time to time.

Glad to see you here, too.
