learn to CONTROL it, learn to grab it, learn to manipulate it and BE SEEN.

The whole time we had power in the Biden administration we (including my own stupid ass) held to the faith that doing truly good things for the country and eloquent speeches on the floor would surely result in more Democrats, and hence more freedom and equality for all. It didn’t. Meanwhile the other side got out front. We refused to define ourselves in any visible and impactful way, so they did it for us. They also did some other things.

For 48 fucking months, they set rooms full of twisted and malevolent scholars, experts and lawyers to work on how to destroy the very form and structure of every single thing in this country that does not please their vengeful and sadistic Gods from school lunches to my vagina. THEY DIDN’T HIDE THEIR PLANS. They even published them, what the ACTUAL FUCK were we doing all that time? How is that leadership is acting all surprised by what is happening when THEY TOLD US WHAT THEY WERE DOING?

I’m fucking pissed, and I’ve seen NOTHING so far that impresses me or makes me believe that the party is making the changes needed to be successful. THAT is when I will have hope, when I see changes that start to bring us out of the shadows and lead to electoral SUCCESS.

Edited to add, the onus is not upon me, nor am I interested in being anyone’s “echo.” I’m a woman. I’ve been expected to live as an echo my entire life.
