Half of America has health insurance thanks to the federal government [View all]

79,308,002 people are enrolled in Medicaid/CHIP, as of last October.
Approximately 20,524,000 people (including us) are enrolled in ACA Marketplace plans with a subsidy provided by the federal government.
According to the CMS, approximately 68 million people are enrolled in Medicare.

That's a total of 167,832,002 people who have health insurance provided by or subsidized by the federal government, or approximately half of the entire U.S. population.

Are Trump & Co. going to shut this all down? Then what?
