Now to answer your question.
My parents moved to Florida when I was 12. Florida was a blue State. My profession was in State Government (still a blue State). I lost everything including my home during hurricane Andrew (still a blue State). I relocated to where I am now to be close to my mother (guess what? Still a blue State). My life partner was from here, we made our home together here & yes Florida at the time was still a blue State.
My life is here, because of health issues all my specialty Doctors are here and I will probably die here. In 2000, Florida went to swing State & from there it's turned blood red.
One of the bedrock principles of America is a persons property & to be secure in it. That's why I'm still here.
I hope this answers your fascination about me.
In closing I will leave you with this, I like to think of myself as a U.S. history buff & one of my favorite things from the American revolution is this: DON'T TREAD ON ME
Have a nice day.
