Your plumber hasn't put all the other plumbers out of business and made himself a near monopoly, then used the power of that monopoly to put the felon in office.
I, too, don't care about the affiliations of local goods and service providers. But that's because I don't think either of us has the ability to crush the other.
The oligarchs have that power, and they're beginning to use it.
