There is a large contingent of agreement among Democrats that we lost the Presidential election on our lack of effective messaging. Walking away with the right wing in total control of the corporate media messaging won’t help sway that consumer segment to our side.

The Comcast spin off of MSNBC presents Democrats with a unique opportunity to do something we probably should have done 30 years ago when Fox News sprung up and started lying daily to news consumers. A re-purposed MSNBC could become a devoted Democratic channel to spreading truth about Democratic policies and about the Republican oligarchy takeover of government and what harm it is doing to Americans.

We need to maintain a presence in this media market.
