Rachel Maddow and corporate media won't save us [View all]

I find it maddening that people are hailing Rachel Maddow's return to daily coverage as a step to saving our democracy.

That is sad. In fact I think unplugging from the daily gotchas that corporate media uses to hook viewers is the better option.

If we are going to suffer. Let the sensationalists, both sides, false hope peddlers suffer as well.

Save your news time for independent outlets Use your spare time for reaching out to friends and family.

Sitting on a couch to take an hour to rehash something that happens during the day that could be explained in 5 minutes is a waste of time.

The corporate media wanted Trump back Fuck them. They aren't worth your time
