(378 posts)Spending every day of your life making sure you dont buy something from a company with owners or leadership possibly having different political views? In this case, you dont even know how your friend voted. Instead of just saying thank you for the gift, but I just dont shop on Amazon, you had to tell him why. Hes so non political that you invite him for coffee and never talk politics.
Do you really have time to investigate every owner of a company whose products you use?
I give you credit for not telling your friend to stay away from now on. Wonder how he feels about continuing a friendship with you? $100 is a lot of money for a neighbors gift.
