The true price hike is actually much more according to Trump's promise to cut energy prices in half.

If gas is up 40% by today's numbers, then the base would be 71.43% of today's price.
But Trump promised to cut energy prices in half so the true base would be 35.71% of today's price.
That would be a 180% price increase by Trump's earlier promise.
As if Trump's promise/word had any value.

I usually never go there. So, it's a bit less elsewhere. It has NEVER been that high here. Never as in ever. tRUMP has given us the highest price per gallon ever. fat orange imbecile. Plus, murderer of children and the SA stuff too. Serial SA'er.

Chevron is consistently the most expensive, even in SF

I paid 5.75 at Costco this morning

Still though, the highest I ever paid before this time was 4.70 during Bush’s war of choice

Here's a link that shows average price in Oklahoma in November 2024 at $2.51 a gallon.

If that's the average, it's pretty likely there were places in OK with $2.28/gallon gas.

Do you think this poster staged this? How would she get a gas station to fake up $2.28/gallon?

I didn't think she faked it. The national average at that time was about $3.05 - $3.10

There were a couple of times in late 2024 that I gassed up for 2.09 per gallon.

Yesterday I gassed up for 3.79 at that exact location.

On February 28th of this year. Costco went under $2/gal at that time.

It’s now $4.59 at the station on the main drag.
