Trump Mobile promised a gold phone "proudly designed and built in the United States." 590,000 people paid $100 deposits. Nearly a year later: zero phones delivered, zero refunds issued, and the terms were quietly changed to make deposits non-refundable.

Last month, Trump Mobile quietly removed all release dates for the Trump T1 Phone from their website. They also changed their terms so that customers' deposits are now a (non-refundable) "opportunity to participate" in future product releases.

This form does not expressly provide that the deposit is non-refundable. There may be other contractual provisions that may provide that the refunds are non-refundable but normally the courts will construe such provisions very narrowly.. There will be litigation and trump should be forced to refund these deposits This will be fun to watch

I know that trump is taking the position that the deposits are nonrefundable but there will be litigation on this issue
