No sooner had Zelenskyy returned to Ukraine than Ursula announced THIS! Take a look at what happened - War & Politics 24

The European Union has approved a massive loan package to help Ukraine meet its economic and military needs for the next two years. The EU also approved new sanctions against Russia over its war on Ukraine.

Speaking at a news conference in Cyprus Thursday, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said "I think the first package will be a drones package, drones from Ukraine for Ukraine." The 90 billion-euro ($106 billion) package was formally approved on Thursday, days after President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the Ukrainian section of the Druzhba pipeline had been repaired and the flow of oil would resume to Slovakia and Hungary, conditions linked to the release of the funds. - 04/24/2026.

May it lead to victory and peace. There are actually serious rumors of a Kremlin coup in the making. May it be so and that this war will be over.

Ukraine fixed their section of the Druzhba pipeline, now Russia needs to fix the damaged section on their territory. Ya might not be around much longer Pooty. Ya better hurry Pooty!

This has gone on way too long, and I have nothing for admiration for President Zelenskyy, not to mention the Ukrainian people!

And I sure agree with you about Putin! I also feel for the Russian people. I don't know if I have mentioned that I visited the USSR in the late '80s. My grandmother was part of a peace group that had a "sister town" in the USSR - and she asked me to join them on their first visit. But Russia was much different then, this was under Gorbachev who had enacted more progressive policies. And we met with Russian peace groups who, after the horrors of WWII fought on their own land, were dedicated to peace. Plus, we were welcomed everywhere, people were pleased to meet Americans and wanted to send send messages back to President Reagan who was extremely tough on Gorbachev.

How times have changed and I feel for the Russian people. I don't know what their future is, but I sure agree that Putin has got to go - not to mention his greatest admirer, the felon-in-chief of this country.
