In March, gas prices jumped 21.2% — the single largest monthly spike ever recorded by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Not over a year. In one month.
That's Trump's Iran escalation showing up at your pump. Monthly inflation tripled from 0.3% to 0.9%. Annual inflation reversed course back to 3.3%. The average American family is now paying an estimated $250 more per month on energy costs alone.
The White House's official response? Eggs are cheaper.
