the article suggests that Krasnov could have had a stroke on the left side of his brain which caused:

His dragging his right leg when he walked

The right side of his face drooping down

He had several more examples which I have forgotten.

His remarks about a past president (while coyly NOT mentioning any names) are classic Trump deception. He would say that with a fully functioning brain and he knows that way too many will believe him and Fox news will repeat the lie.

As far as his other misstatements, yeah, that is his brain rotting. I'm just saying that in his moments of clarity, he is still capable of pulling the same con shit he's been doing his whole life. In fact, it is his default mode and even his deteriorating brain will automatically go to whatever fits the reality he wants to convey.
