New Study: High IQ Tied To Less Conservative Beliefs



A new study revealed that there is a correlation between intelligence and conservatism, especially in relation to one gender.

Or at least realize it's maybe somewhat true but not always. For instance I've got a brilliant son who is a libertarian-style Republican and conspiracy theorist (but highly functional with an MBA and working as an IT director of a city, married with five kids) and another bright son who is a conservative evangelical Christian also married with five children).

Both parents are liberal activists (and progressive Christians), and grandparents were too (at least on my side) so we don't know how it happened.

He's always said that a higher percentage of scientists and people that are highly educated
usually leans toward the left. They tend to think Republicans are the old proverbial
"Big show but no go" reality.
