According to the president, the American side is promoting the narrative that the withdrawal of Ukraine’s Armed Forces from Donbas would supposedly guarantee peace from Russia. However, Zelenskyy is convinced that Russia’s real goal is the complete takeover of Ukraine. “I think they have never pursued any other objective except the occupation of Ukraine. At a minimum, they want 100% of Donbas in order to sell it as a victory to their own society,” the head of state emphasized. He stressed that the idea of a “territorial exchange” is unacceptable, as it concerns hundreds of thousands of people who remain there, as well as the lives of defenders who have been sacrificed in that direction. - 02/15/2026.

European NATO members are standing up and Russia's military/economy cannot open a 2nd front against NATO. Trump can't do anything to help his buddy.

and every Ukrainian student on campus. We hosted the Ukrainian ambassador the week before the invasion on 24 Feb 22. They appreciate any and all support. Putin is a murderer. Ukraine is holding the line for Europe and Trump is doing everything possible to sabotage NATO.

I certainly agree with everything you said and I believe that Ukraine and their holding strong against everything the Russians hit them with will go down in history. And it rips my heart out that they can no longer count on the U.S. as their strongest ally. And yet they persevere. Slava Ukraini!
