Evangelical Christianity Is Literally a CIA PSYOP

This video describes the spread of Evangelicalism in Latin America by the CIA in support of right-wing dictatorships and US imperialism. What started in the 60s led to wars, torture, and genocidal regimes in the 70s and 80s funded by the US and explicitly supported by the likes of Billy Graham and Pat Robertson. While it doesn’t touch on the rise of Evangelicalism in the US, we are all aware of the deep ties between Christian Nationalism and fascism at home, which was supported by a small army of right-wing American oligarchs. Evangelicalism is a tool of exploitative capitalism.

What could be worse for the empire controlled by oligarchs and wholly dependent on the feeding of its war machine?

Chavez co-opted liberation theology, to his great success. For that, Chavismo and Venezuelans had to be starved, sanctioned, invaded, their riches stolen and their country about to be subsumed into the empire.

Ever notice how many insane evangelicals are in Africa? Especially homophobic and transphobic ones? That's all because of the unholy alliance between American evangelicals and the CIA.
