According to a report from The New York Times, Donald Trump is wanting to send out stimulus checks to Americans who are feeling the squeeze from his economy. Economists are already warning that this is a very bad idea, as it would drive inflation even higher, causing people to spend more to get less - while also hurting the financial status of the US government. But Trump thinks that money solves everything, so don't be surprised when he ignores the smart people in an attempt to payoff voters before the midterms. Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

Hasn't Chump's administration done everything in its power to stop using paper checks, and stop using the US Postal Service? I'm completely skeptical of this story, because it doesn't track with everything else he's doing now.
For example, the Social Security Administration has all but eliminated mailing paper checks on a monthly basis. Almost every SSA benefit is paid out through direct deposit now, and indeed that had already begun before Chump came back to the White House, however he is speeding up the transition. As far as WIC and other benefits, I believe they are all distributed by direct transfers now.
Am I right about this? For Chump to suddenly announce that he's "mailing out checks to all Americans" ... why should anyone even believe this? It's complete hogwash ... and yes it would speed up the inflation spiral very quickly. But I just can't see it happening at all.
