The thinking process of some of his decisions and the President’s honest and thoughtful answers. Very good interview that gave us an insight into the complexity of issues and the desire to do the right thing for the country. Don’t think we’ll ever see a more honest president who has tried to steer us in the right direction. People did not appreciate President Carter and his warnings but he was right all along. I feel the same about President Biden..he’s right but not appreciated by some. Very sad for us

2. I feel the same way, I truly respect his experience and I'm scared witless that he's leaving

We have never had a more experienced president in our history, 36 years in the Senate and 8 years as Obama's trusted VP where he was chosen for his foreign policy experience. And he came along at just the right time, to set things to right after TFG mishandled everything, foreign relations, the pandemic, not to mention stealing classified documents and leading an insurrection to overthrow the government.

President Biden did everything he could to clean up the chaos he was left with, but you could see that he is anxious about what can happen in the next four years with an incompetent leader choosing only those who will surrender their will to him. But we'd be in a lot worse shape if President Biden hadn't put things in place to thwart TFG's worst motives. Biden worked for the people, TFG only works for himself.

As for President Carter, he has always been my favorite president, but President Biden will likely emerge as our best because he had the toughest job. And Lawrence O'Donnell, since he also has experience with and understands how government works, was the best journalist to interview him at this precarious point, since he understands where Biden and our government stand right now.

3. I agree. President Biden ran for the Oval Office because he felt things going in the wrong direction

And he could make a difference n he was the right person at the right time. He and VP Harris were true partners turning the economy and health of our country into a strong and prosperous and respected nation. Strengthening our allies, NATO and honoring other treaties..he did so much in one term with only a few months of majority support. I hold him n high regard for his lifelong of service.. the likes we may never see again 😢

He set things to right, put policies in place to protect our future - the economy, climate change, and aid to our allies. And you're right, we can only hope that our next president has half of Biden's insight and understanding, since we're certainly going to need him/her.

5. I have every fear imaginable for my country and for myself as I'm retired and depend on my earned

Benefits that allows me to live independently and I work hard to make them stretch as far as I can. I am only one of millions in the situation that followed the advice for my golden years but never dreamed the very foundation could be so easily destroyed. It just never occurred to me that all this could be turned upside down n gone. Very scary but we’re gonna have to do what we gotta do to survive and hold on to what made us who we are. Maybe the Golden Girls model will work for some of us like when we first started out as young people! Some of my older neighbors are headed to live with their kids n other family n friends. Whatever it takes 🤗

Not dealing with the serious threat to our country that is turnip and the other insurrectionist was/is that moment. I will always admire and respect President Biden but that creature slithering back into the Oval Office is the result of catastrophic failures of his administration.

At this point, I’m just happy he finally made it to the White House. That’s an outstanding, well-earned, AND well-deserved way to end a long, distinguished career in selfless and dedicated public service. He’s always been known for his honesty, integrity, and a heart as big as all-outdoors. And he goes out on top.

But it was a sad hour.
1: This is the end of his career, and undoubtedly near the end of a long and amazing life.
2: his poll numbers aren’t good - and he ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT deserve that. He certainly didn’t earn bad reviews.
3: He IS aging. You could hear it and see it. Really broke my heart.
4: His advanced age means he’ll probably leave us soon…
5: …and he’ll never know the avalanches of love, appreciation that his decades of hard word and devoted service to his fellow Americans. That’s gonna happen but most likely not til awhile after he’s gone and can’t enjoy the great reviews he’s earned AND deserved. And he’ll be the poster-boy for “Character Counts!”
6: He’ll be the most under-appreciated President in American history.

We’ve all been very lucky to have him as our president. I really wish he could have had more time in the White House, but it just came too late. But he did get there. And it’s the highest and most excellent way to wrap up a long and admirable public-service career.

And he's already withstood so much, losing his wife and baby daughter at such a young age, but he rallied for his sons' benefit and went on to find happiness again. And he had one amazing political career, accomplished so much for so many, as senator, trusted VP, capped off by president. And his term as president certainly wasn't easy, having to clean up after the worst POTUS in U.S. history and he's certainly worried about what this anti-American will do both to destroy his amazing heritage and life for the American people yet again.
