Hegseth is loyal to the felon and will carry his water. There are thousands and thousands of combat veterans but that doesn't mean they could all do this job. There are dozens of talking heads on Faux and that doesn't qualify them for this position. Hegseth has had a lot of issues due to his alcoholism. And he didn't even answer most of the questions the Democrats asked him and he was too much of a coward to meet with them prior to the confirmation hearing. He's a coward and a phony.

That this is a better choice for this position? I realize the felon wants loyalty but there’s not a more qualified butt kisser?

His whole attitude was combative. He talked over the senators, didn't answer questions, and tried to justify unjustifiable conduct. McCaffrey used Hegseth's Princeton degree as some sort of recommendation. It's not.

He said Hegseth could be successful if he had the right people around him. I don't know if that's a compliment.

Maybe if Hegseth has good advisors instead of yes men and he's willing to take advice. That's a lot of variables that have to fall into place.
