On the same day he received his first Grammy nomination, Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont announced that he will return to Reading.
(Senator Sanders) will hold a rally Sunday at the Santander Performing Arts Center in protest of the Republican-backed tax plan making its way through Congress, according to a press release Tuesday. Sanders will be joined by representatives of political action groups MoveOn.org and Not One Penny for a "Protecting Working Families Rally."
The recently announced tour kicks off on Friday in Louisville, Ky., before heading to Dayton and Akron, Ohio on Saturday and finally coming to Reading on Sunday.
