Just saw "Jay Kelly"

Enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. Really surprised at how strong Adam Sandler's performance was. His path in acting reminds me a lot of Bill Murray's, i.e. that they both started as comedians known mainly for goofy over the top roles comedy characters that didn't really stand out. Interesting how the depth of their acting talents has grown as they have aged.

I thought his performance was meh. I did like George Clooney and also
the organization of the plot where they went from the present and into
another room to enter the past.

Curious how others feel.

He's done a few decent serious roles. But here he was a bit over the top playing the doting father. Clooney on the other hand was quite good, I thought.
