Do a screen grab of the image to your desktop. Name it so you can find it on your desktop and follow the instructions on postimages.org.

But copying the link from Twitter should lead to photos. If I understand the problem.

Whe I upload photo to post hotlinks for forums all sorts of other letters post....

I just copy and paste the url of the video right into the DU text box here.

When I was new here, I was shown how to use it (initially to post a pic of my 2 dogs on a pet thread!) - and I got quite proficient. I could edit photos so they were the correct size and could crop them so they looked better. These days, I mostly find a pic, then do a Search for a version of it that's the right size and that works. It's a real PIA.

I think I saw that explanation in the Lounge and I can't find it now. I think it involved changing the link address...?

Of the Tweet, then click on "Copy link to Tweet" and then paste it. Does that help?

1. Copy the link from the Twitter picture.

2. Delete everything up to and including the question mark

3. Add .jpg



And...Voila!!!

It’s pretty simple… save pic to your phone/tablet whatever, at postimage point to saved pic and upload, then it will give you a URL to copy and paste to DU Thread
That’s the simplified version of steps, you have to try it a few times to get it right

here I look at a tweet via Google (I don't have Twitter but can read them on my tablet when others post them, like Keith Olbermann). Under the picture are 4 icons, the one on the far right is like a 2 sided triangle and you tap it for "sharing". Then options appear and you tap on the one that says "clipboard". Then when you are writing a post on DU you tap the screen and choose "paste" and it appears on the screen.
