What's wrong with IMO?
Humble and Very Humble is stupid.

(110,159 posts)that is i think is true, i will always start with... i think. and when it is something i feel and really have nothing of bases, i say i believe.
i realized i did that not so long ago.
and no. i do not feel the need to say imo, unless i am being a tad snarky cause the poster is gonna throw it at me, and i know it.

Humble: having or showing a modest or low estimate of one's own importance
xulamaude
(847 posts)"I don't think that (something) is true."
versus
"I think that (something) is not true."
Not ever going to catch me saying "I don't think".

like that was the only thing that screwed up my language, lol.
seabeyond
(110,159 posts)totally fake and clueless what or how that was. lol. never messed with humble again. meh... it is what it is.

(42,538 posts)I think these things come about because it's had to judge intent sometimes-- at least in the earlier days. Now acronyms can be used as sarcasm, to hide being an asshole-- to misdirect.
I think I use IMO because I get a little lazy. Can remember the last time I used IMHO--because my opinions aren't humble, unless I'm talk liking about particle physics with a physicist or something

(4,035 posts)As in 'I am going to level with you, and tell you what I really think, and not prettify it for the public'. I guess I was wrong.
xulamaude
(847 posts)I guess I always just assumed it was humble. That's the only way I've heard it said out loud, anyway.
I like your H better
